Abstract:

In this presentation, Yuting Li will introduce the definition of expanders, their basic properties, and some applications of expanders. The goal is to add expanders to the audiences’ toolkit.

Bio:

Yuting Li is a first year PhD student at computer science department. He is interested in error correcting codes, pseudorandom objects, and other topics in theoretical computer science.
